FILTER carried out a major overhaul of a Jenbacher J312 gas engine at an agricultural cogeneration plant.
As part of the project, a “short block” version of the engine overhaul was performed, involving refurbishment of the existing engine at the manufacturer’s facility. On site, works included engine disconnection and replacement, preparation of the engine for transportation, preparation of the extraction route, delivery of the refurbished engine to Latvia, and installation at the facility.
Following installation, engine commissioning was successfully completed. In addition, the project included replacement of generator bearings, cleaning of generator windings, turbine maintenance works, as well as the supply and installation of a set of engine gaskets, elastomers, and filters.
