For short-term or one-time measurements, there is no need to buy a permanent flow meter. By renting flow meters, you save on costs, and their reuse is easy.
To install a flow meter that utilizes the ultrasonic measurement principle, commonly employed for liquid flow measurement, it is not necessary to make cuts in the pipe. Instead, the measurement is performed directly through the wall of the pipeline, with the measuring devices installed on the surface of the pipes.
The portable and pipe-recessed meter for measuring gases and liquids requires minimal plumbing for installation. Once you have installed a portable steam flow meter and completed the necessary pipe work, you can use it again in the same location without the need to stop the process for installation or removal.

A portable steam flow meter which delivers volumetric, mass and energy flow monitoring of gas, liquid or steam. It can be installed and maintained under full flow conditions, without shutdown. Installation is done via an isolation valve located on the pipe.

Portable ultrasonic water flow meter measures volumetric flow and heating/cooling energy rates in clean liquids as well as those with small amounts of suspended solids or aeration, such as surface water or raw sewage.
UTM10 flow and energy meters clamp onto the outside of pipes and do not make contact with the liquid inside the pipe.

The DXN portable ultrasonic flow meter is designed to measure volumetric flow rate within a closed conduit. The transducers are a non-contacting, clamp-on or clamp-around type, which provide the benefits of non-fouling operation and ease of installation.
The flow meter can be successfully applied on a wide range of metering applications because the meter has both transit time and Doppler capabilities.
