Boilers specifically designed for industry

If your production needs heat energy in any process, you are most likely already using a water boiler, even if it is only for room heating or tap water production. FILTER works daily with hot water boilers meant specifically for industrial applications. Industrial hot water boilers are designed to be more robust and durable, with advanced control systems and safety features to ensure reliable and efficient operation. Our daily business usually starts from capacities of 0.5 MW up to 50 MW. Water maximum temperatures are up to 225°C. We can provide water boilers suitable for all commonly used fuels in industries: electricity, shale oil, natural gas, LNG, LPG, biogas, hydrogen, light fuel oils, heavy fuel oils, and production waste oils (e.g. animal fat, bio oil).

The pressure range: up to 25 bar, according customer needs:

  • low-pressure boilers,
  • medium-pressure boilers,
  • high-pressure boilers.

Products

  • Hot water boilers for gas or oil fueled

Water boilers for gas and/or oil fueled

The highly efficient three-pass boilers are designed for up to 38 MW of heating at up to 30 bar. Its various output sizes and temperature ranges up to 225 °C enable flexible operation for countless process heat and heating applications. The complete system is available from a single source, with low-emission or CO2-neutral, customer-specific operation possible. It’s proven and maintenance-friendly construction ensures a long service life and reliability.

  • Electrical hot water boilers

    Electrical hot water boilers

The low and high voltage electric boilers use electricity, instead of combustible fuels such as oil and gas, to produce hot water. They are designed for up to 50 MW and pressure up to 16 Bar. Electric hot water boilers are primarily used within the energy and process industries for the purpose of producing hot water for district heating or to use surplus electricity from sources such as wind turbines and other types of power plants.

  • Biomass hot water boilers

Biomass boilers utilize a highly sustainable, carbon-neutral, and renewable fuel source in the form of wood, including wood chips and wood pellets. Despite its traditional feel, this method remains one of the most dependable ways to generate heat. If you’re seeking a renewable alternative to fossil fuels, a biomass boiler presents a compelling option. We provide biomass boilers with output ranging from 400 to 15,000 kW, capable of warming water up to 200°C in two variants: a full-load optimized 3-pass version and a 2-pass version optimized for partial load operation. Additionally, our boilers come in horizontal on-top-of-furnace versions, reducing unnecessary radiation losses and enhancing efficiency, or in vertical configurations to accommodate spatial restrictions as per the customer’s request. Operating pressures range from 6 to 16 bar. Each boiler is individually designed according to the unique requirements of specific customer, with no fixed pressure stage modules, ensuring tailored solutions for every need.

What you must know about hot water boilers

When choosing a hot water boiler, it is important to ensure that the boiler is properly sized for the facility's needs, as an oversized boiler can result in higher operating costs. Regular maintenance and inspections can help to identify and address any issues that may be impacting the boiler's efficiency, such as leaks or scale buildup. Additionally, implementing energy-saving measures, such as installing insulation or upgrading to more efficient equipment, can help to reduce energy consumption and lower costs. It is also important to monitor and adjust the water chemistry to prevent corrosion and scale buildup, which can reduce the boiler's efficiency and increase maintenance costs. We can help you to upgrade your process, build a new boiler house solution, or provide maintenance service. Contact us for consultancy!

  • illustration New and more effective boiler solutions are available

New and more effective boiler solutions can help to use less fuel, which can result in cost savings and a reduced environmental impact. Advances in technology have led to the development of more efficient boilers that can extract more heat from the fuel, reducing the amount of fuel needed to produce the same amount of heat. In addition, modern control systems can help to optimize the operation of the boiler, further reducing fuel consumption. Our boilers provide lower operating and maintenance costs, short payback period and using fuel efficiently.

  • illustration They are environmentally friendly and provide smaller CO2 footprint

Burning the fuel cleaner and using this heat more efficiently lowers combustion residues and energy losses. By using less fuel, these new and more effective boiler solutions can help to reduce both operating costs and CO2 emissions.

  • illustration Importance of water treatment and regular maintenance

Proper water treatment is a precondition for ensuring the maximum life cycle of important components such as transmission and distribution pipe systems, boilers and heat exchangers. Some common maintenance tasks for industrial hot water boilers include regular inspections and cleaning of the boiler and its components, checking and adjusting the water chemistry, testing and calibrating the control and safety systems, and performing any necessary repairs or replacements. It is also important to monitor the boiler's performance and efficiency, and to keep records of maintenance and repairs. Regular maintenance can help to ensure the safe and efficient operation of the boiler, extend its lifespan, and reduce the risk of breakdowns or failures.

  • illustration Advanced control systems and safety features

Industrial hot water boilers are equipped with advanced control systems and safety features to ensure reliable and efficient operation. These control systems can include features such as temperature and pressure sensors, programmable logic controllers, and remote monitoring and control capabilities. Safety features can include pressure relief valves, low water cutoffs, and flame safeguard controls, among others. These systems work together to monitor and regulate the operation of the boiler, ensuring that it operates within safe and efficient parameters.
