    • Spectrophotometers

A spectrophotometer is an instrument that measures how much light is absorbed by a water sample as light passes through it. After adding chemical reagents to a water sample, those reagents react with analyte(s) to form a color complex. Spectrophotometers then use internal calibrations to equate that color to the concentration of the parameter being measured.

Spectrophotometry is one of the most common and useful methods of quantitative analysis of many water parameters in various industrial and municipal applications. Based on your applications, they can be either portable (handheld) to allow samples directly in the field, or benchtop units for high-volume water analysis in lab environment.

Our spectrophotometers are pre-programmed with over 250 methods optimized for water analysis. Our instruments have guided procedures and include pre-programmed testing methods and our integrated quality assurance software – Claros

    • Colorimeters

Colorimetric technology offers highly accurate and efficient portable solutions to analyze such key water quality parameters as: chlorine, iron, manganese, chemical oxygen demand (COD), ozone and phosphate among others.

Colorimeters are compact and portable pocket-type or to allow quick and easy access to your most frequently used testing methods in as little as two clicks. Hach Colorimeters are waterproof, dustproof and shock-resistant and have been drop tested for greater quality assurance. They can offer an intuitive user interface, large data storage and a built-in USB port for the easy transfer of information.

    • Turbidimeters

Turbidimeters, also called turbidity meters, are instruments used for measuring the turbidity of liquids. The turbidity of a sample is proportional to the intensity of the light reflected by particles in the water. Turbidity is a measure of cloudiness in liquids and has been recognized as a simple indicator of general water quality.

Turbidimeters can be ordered either portable, benchtop or online version.

Turbidimeters can be used in the following applications: Drinking water, Wastewater, Industrial water,
Food and beverage, Pharmaceuticals, Chemical refining, Metals and mining, Agriculture, Power generation and many more.

    • Fluorometers

Portable fluorometer is an instrument, combined with specially formulated reagents, create a fluorescence that indicates chlorine at ultra low ranges. It offers the most simple way to be confident that chlorine has been removed or reduced from your process.

Measure free and total chlorine plus sulfite in the low ppb range:
      Free Chlorine: 2 – 100 µg/L Cl₂
      Total Chlorine: 3 – 100 µg/L Cl₂
      Sulfite: 6 – 500 µg/L SO₃

With this knowledge, you’ll gain the insights you need to manage your dechlorination process and avoid chlorine damage to reverse osmosis (RO) membranes and other valuable assets.

    • Analytical testing kits

There are various water testing kits available for situations where site analyzes is daily life. With these assemblies you can carry all your testing equipment with you wherever you go. The perfect solution for water treatment professionals or anyone looking to carry analytical testing equipment without all the hassle!

The solution can be in a backpack or in a metallic case. The portable lab contains durable instruments, premeasured reagents impervious to environmental contamination, apparatus and labware.

    • Electrochemical Meters

With a robust and intuitive range of portable electrochemical meters, Hach offers true rugged, field-ready solutions that instill confidence in reporting and managing your results. For water quality professionals who want to perform electrochemical analysis for field and lab environments.

Our new portable platform will allow you to collect intuitive, accurate measurements, manage data, and easily review results, while supplying an IP67 robustness rating. They provide a true rugged, field-ready solution with on-screen, visual step-by-step operating guidance that provides users with confidence in reporting and managing their results.

    • Chemistries, Reagents and Standards

Chemistries and reagents are essential for performing chemical analyses. They provide the necessary compounds and solutions to carry out tests, identify substances, and determine their composition.

Either your lab is doing research, quality control, diagnostic testing, education and training, instrument calibration, safety and environmental testing, the need for sufficient supply of reagents and chemistries are needed to keep your lab up and running. • Digital Reactors

Pre-programmed one-key operation for all standard and special digestions, e.g. Phophorus, COD, Nitrogen TNTplus vial tests. The fully insulated heater block of the reactor means there can be no skin contact with the heater block. Temperature safeguards are provided to prevent overheating. The lids are transparent and lock to deter premature checking of the progress of the reaction. And the reactor will emit an audible signal and automatically shutdown at the end of the run.

Heating Rate 20 to 150 ºC in 10 minutes.

Applications: Boiler Water, Industrial Wastewater, Municipal Water, Pre-Treatment, Steam Cycle

    • Titration systems

Titration is an analytical chemistry technique where a solution of known concentration, called the titrant, is added to a solution containing an unknown concentration of an analyte. The titrant and sample analyte react with one another until the chemical reaction reaches a measurable endpoint.
The volume of titrant used to reach the endpoint is used to determine the concentration of the analyte. It is a simple process and titrations can be performed manually or they can be performed with an automatic titrator. Our selection of titrators offers both – manual and automatic – for accurate concentration analysis you can trust from day to day.
