Turbidity is a measure of cloudiness in liquids and has been recognized as a simple indicator of general water quality. The exact type of turbidity analyzers will be chosen based on your application and process.

Our selections of analyzers vary from Ultraturbo Seawater sensor to Ultra-High Precision Low Range Laser turbidity analyzers. Applications for online turbidity analyzers can be for an example filtration, membrane protection, regulations, water reuse and many more.

    • Chlorine analyzers

Chlorine analyzers have been in the industry standard for years, known for providing real-time accurate and reliable results. Free Chlorine Analyzer and Total Chlorine Analyzer measure free or total chlorine continuously for real time process control. It can be based on amperometric or colorimetric  technology.

Applications for this can be boiler water, discharge water, product loss, groundwater, potable water influent for wastewater, membrane protection, filtration,  municipal water, regulations, surface water and many more.

Amperometric chlorine technology does not use reagents, eliminating the need for a sanitary drain and saving you the cost of monthly reagent replacement.

    • Silica analyzers

Silica analyzers are instruments used to measure the concentration of silica (silicon dioxide, SiO2) in liquid samples. They are commonly employed in industries such as power generation, semiconductor manufacturing, and water treatment, where monitoring silica levels is essential for process control, quality assurance, and environmental compliance.

Silica analyzers typically utilize various analytical techniques to quantify silica concentrations, including colorimetry, ultraviolet (UV) absorption, and chemical reactions specific to silica.

    • Colorimetric chlorine analyzers

Colorimetric chlorine analyzers are instruments used to measure the concentration of chlorine (Cl2) in liquid samples by employing colorimetric principles. These analyzers typically operate based on a chemical reaction between chlorine and a colorimetric reagent, resulting in a color change proportional to the chlorine concentration. A photometric detector, such as a photodiode or a photomultiplier tube, is utilized to measure the intensity of the color change.

This type of analyzer is essential for various applications where accurate monitoring of chlorine levels is critical for safety, quality control, and regulatory compliance, including water treatment applications, industrial processes, and environmental monitoring.

    • Ozone analyzers

Smart amperometric Ozone Analyzers are online, single-channel industrial sensors that measure ozone in drinking water treatment plants, distribution networks, and other applications that require monitoring of ozone at the ppb and ppm levels. These instruments use an amperometric method to measure ozone concentration. A membrane allows the selective diffusion of ozone molecules to the amperometric sensors. The measurements are compensated for pH and temperature.

      Applications:

      • Discharge
      • Groundwater
      • Influent for wastewater
      • Membrane protection
      • Municipal water
      • Regulations
      • Surface water
    • Oxygen scavenger analyzers

Online analyzers for monitoring hydrazine and carbohydrazide oxygen scavengers are integral parts of complete water analytics systems designed for the power industry. A broad range of product options is made to work together as flexible solutions to meet your unique needs.

Oxygen scavenger analyzers are used in various industries where the presence of dissolved oxygen in liquids can cause corrosion, degradation of products, or interfere with processes.

      Some common applications include:

      • Boiler water treatment
      • Food and beverage industry
      • Pharmaceutical and biotechnology
      • Oil and gas industry
      • Water treatment and many more.
    • Phosphate analyzers

Phosphate Analyzers are continuous online analyzers used to measure the concentration of phosphate ions (PO₄³⁻). They are employed to early detect and precisely monitor phosphate levels in various applications, including boiler water supply, steam cycles, municipal wastewater effluents, and many others.

    • Streaming current monitors

Streaming Current Monitors (SCMs) are instruments used in water treatment processes to measure the streaming current generated by charged particles suspended or dissolved in a liquid. They are primarily employed in coagulation and flocculation control in water and wastewater treatment plants.

SCMs operate based on the principle of electrokinetic charge detection. When charged particles, such as colloids, organic matter, or ions, are present in water, they create an electric potential at the surface of a sensing electrode. This potential generates a streaming current as the charged particles move past the electrode. The magnitude of the streaming current is directly proportional to the concentration of charged particles in the water.

      Applications:

      • Water management and surface water
      • Coagulation and flocculation control
      • Turbidity and particle monitoring
      • Process optimization
      • Research and development
    • Testomat hardness analyzers

The Testomat automatic determines residual/total hardness via titration. It is ideal for assessing water quality after water softeners, water blending, and drinking water plants. These compactly designed online analyzers are primarily used for measuring water hardness and alkalinity parameters such as carbonate hardness, m-value, or p-value.

These robust, field-proof devices allow operators to monitor two measuring points and thus two plant areas. The measured values can be transmitted to a higher-level control system via a 4-20 mA signal. Additionally, two limit values can be monitored using potential-free contacts. The evaluation of the titration methods employed is performed photometrically by observing the color changes of the reagents in the optically visible wavelength range.
