For a linen textile manufacturer in Lithuania, FILTER delivered a complete water treatment system for textile production. The system prepares groundwater for use in the production process and has a design flow rate of 46 m³/h.
Water quality is an important production parameter in the textile industry. Stable water characteristics support consistent processes, product quality and reliable equipment operation.
Water treatment adapted to the production process – water supplied from the facility’s groundwater well passes through iron removal and softening. An automatic mixing system then adjusts the treated water to achieve a final hardness of 0.5–1.5 °dH.The objective was not simply to make the water as soft as possible, but to maintain the specific hardness range required by the production process.
Automated operation and control – the system includes automated control valves, and the water treatment station operates automatically. Key parameters can be monitored and controlled through the SCADA system and remotely. Responsible personnel also receive automatic notifications about potential faults. This gives the operating team a clearer view of the system’s status and supports a faster response when attention is required.
FILTER’s scope covered the complete solution, from incoming groundwater treatment to final process-water preparation.
